The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the business is supported by best in class strategic, finance and commercial decision support on all appropriate related issues, covering the following areas:
1). Strategic Planning: Support the production of the Medium Term Strategic Review (MTSR) and Five Year Plan, through specific work stream ownership.
2). Strategic Projects: Support the SLT/Business Units on assessing the financial impact/viability on a variety of strategic options to drive customer revenue and/or decrease cost eg mergers and acquisitions support (M&A), other non-organic growth opportunities and cost reduction programmes. To specifically own and manage elements of such projects 'end to end'.
3). Future Products/Propositions: Assess the financial and commercial viability of future products, propositions and other programmes independently or with other Business Units, so that new revenue streams and/or cost reducing opportunities are maximised.
4). Competitor Analysis: Support rolling competitor analysis, so that the client may assess the success of strategy implementation and to feedback this analysis to the relevant SLT and/or Business Units.

Essential
*Qualified/part qualified accountant and/or relevant finance/economics related degree and/or consulting background
*Strong work experience, gained in international blue chip environment and/or consulting/advisory
*Experience in change/project management and working in a cross-functional project environment
*Strong strategic and/or financial and/or commercial decision support experience and understanding
*Excellent communication and presentation skills
*Strong prioritisation and organisational skills
*Cross cultural awareness on global scale
*Highly motivated individual with an enquiring and challenging 'mindset'
