This leading software company are looking to take on a strong C++ developer to join their successful team in Paris. The company is a market leader in developing and selling software to banking and investment businesses.
My client is looking for strong C++ programmers to develop the existing risk system, but a background in this area is not essential. The candidate will be involved in all phases of development (design, coding) and the role will include the construction of unit tests and the use of Excel to prepare and compare results. 80% of this position will be focused on new features, with only 20% on existing.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to bridge the gap between software and finance development.

- Understanding of financial instruments - if no experience here, a definite interest in finance will be highly regarded
- Strong mathematical background
- A background in OO programming and design patterns
- Good design, development and debugging skills
- Good communication skills
