Syndicate Accountant, 6 month contract, London, General Insurance
Panoramic Associates are urgently looking for a Syndicate Accountant on behalf of an expanding Lloyd's Insurer. The primary focus of the role will be to ensure the accurate and timely production of the financial accounting information required by management and external parties.
Within the role, your responsibilities will include;
Preparing all Lloyd's returns for the syndicate; providing quarterly reporting pack for the syndicate; assisting the underwriters in the preparation of forecasts; ensuring the ledger reconciles to data held in other systems; investigating any discrepancies in the integrity of the data; be responsible for the preparation and posting of the reinsurance transactions based on information received from the RI Dept and; be responsible for production of management accounts including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
In order to be considered, you will need to be an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with significant experience of insurance & general management accounting. Lloyd's/London General Insurance experience is a strong preference. You'll have a track record of success when working to tight deadlines, be a highly numerate self starter, possess excellent communication skills and be capable to developing excellent professional relationship with key interfaces across the business.
