Job description:
The project aims at functionally and technically upgrading the IT landscape supporting the Markets &Sales Belgium operations.
The project is organised in several tracks and will:
- Technically and functionally enhance the current SAP platform (CRM and IS-U)
- Put in place a layered SOA architecture exploiting functionality exposed as web services on the SAP back-ends and combining these with business rules managed in a SAP Composition Environment 7.3 with BRM component. Other systems in this architecture include a tool for service composition and an Enterprise Service Bus
- Develop a new application interface for operators using the services provided by the SOA layer
- Replace the Legacy applications that serve customers and partners online using the services provided by the SOA layer

Task & responsibilities
The consultant will be part of the service provisioning & consumption team that will put in place the SOA layer of the architecture and the web applications for customers and sales partners. He/she will:
- Assist the lead IS analyst in the technical study of the business requirements with a focus on FICA and billing processes
- Participate in workshops with IS and business stakeholders and comment on business blueprints
- Assist in the redaction of the technical blueprint (detailing of the processes, definition of the interfaces) and implementation specifications for external suppliers
- Assist the lead IS analyst and the delivery manager in the drafting of the implementation planning together with the implementation team
- Assist the lead IS analyst and the delivery manager in the follow-up of the implementation
- Provide functional support during testing and bug fixing
The consultant will report to the lead IS analyst.

- Technical blueprint
- Technical specification documents using templates
Other competencies:
- Proven project involvement required
- Excellent consultative and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
- Strong critical thinking and ability to understand and resolve complex issues
- Knowledge of the Belgian utilities market and its processes (sales/switching/billing/FICA) will be considered a strong asset.
- Experience with web applications or any of the other technologies mentioned will be considered an asset as well.
- Remote resources will not be considered
Level:
Medior: 3-6 years experience
Languages required:
Excellent English with good knowledge of Dutch and/or French
