We are currently recruiting for a Global leading organisation, who have an exciting opportunity looking for a fixed term Infrastructure Specialist.
The individual will be playing a major role in the day- to day management of the IT infrastructure, in conjunction with the technology partners. The role will include the approval for the design and build of the IT infrastructure, as well operational governance and resolving any customer issues. The individual will need a proven track record in dealing with non IT clients at all levels.
The individual will design, build, own and manage IT infrastructure architecture in line their Europe Global IT standards and controls.
The right individual for this role, must have
- Ten years experience in building and running IT infrastructure platforms in multi European scenarios
- Deep knowledge of desktop, networking and server technologies, protocols and principals
- Can make IT infrastructure decisions based on company guidelines and standards
- Must have experience of building or managing IT incidents, problems, change and configurations
- Must exhibit rigorous expense control
