SENIOR TECHNICAL MANAGER - BELGIUM
TECHNICAL MANAGER/ICT/WAN/DNS/STORAGE/VOIP/VPN/NAT
CONTRACT - € PER DAY - 6 months + EXTNS - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
We currently seek a Senior Technical Manager to provide technical expertise and guide the design and development of all programmes and provide substantive related technical inputs related to the overall design and in a specific technical domain regarding network and communication systems and participate in evaluations of statistics, you will manage the maintenance technical configuration documentation for TAPs, IP address plans, central platform, and management platform by the SOC, define the architecture, plan, and new applications that are needed to improve the usage of EuroDomain & Service and IDABC, scope the user community business requirements and work with the Chief Project Manager to manage on-time and on-budget delivery of solutions.
You will have the following skills and expertise:
* Ability to participate, present and lead when required, in meetings, good communicator,
* Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working are mandatory
* Ability & knowledge to provide technical expertise in network WAN communications, VPN, generic domain services like DNS, Telephony over IP, video over IP, Routing, NAT, authentication services, e-mail, Application Development, Storage, hardware, and security implementations.
* Ability to generate requirements, to plan and to forecast.
* Detailed knowledge of IDABC framework and interworking guidelines.
* Good written and spoken English and if you have knowledge of French or Dutch this would be desirable.
You MUST have minimum of 10 years experience in ICT, and minimum of 5 years experience in telecommunications & network technologies in an international environment.
