Description
Environmental Test Engineer - Our client who is a major Aerospace name is looking for a contract Environmental Test Engineer on an initial 6 month contract. The ideal candidate would have an aerospace background.
The Key Accountabilities for the role are as follows:
- Conduct and supervise product testing both on site and at external test facilities
- Prepare and issue Flash and full Test Reports for review by customer(s) and MBA
- Evaluate post test data, through reduction analysis and interpretation of instrumentation data.
- Prepare Test Procedure and schedules, to include the test facility selection and oversee test design and fixture development.
- Develop Test Programme Plan.
- Evaluate post test data, through reduction analysis and interpretation of photographic data and develop simple analysis tools.
- Conduct detailed analysis of any failure encountered during Test.
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience in developing and managing test programmes.
- Experience of conducting successful seat/environmental tests, and producing reports and technical data.
- Grounding in Health and Safety relating to test environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of Test and Measurement Instrumentation.
- Knowledge of Vibration and Climatic test techniques and systems.
