Description
The tester will be responsible for testing multiple applications within the client, Internet, and Contact Center Technologies Technology QA Assurance group. The tester should have experience testing on a variety of applications, such as Web based and Thick Client applications. In this role the QA specialist will be focused on the automated regression testing of the Customer Information View (CIV) applications. The project team will consist of multiple remote sites, including offshore. Write/maintain test case scripts and execute; document detailed results and summary report. Additional responsibilities as directed by either the QA Lead or Management.
Required
- 1 - 3 years of systems analysis experience (at least 2 years in the testing field).
- At least 2 years of experience with Quick Test Professional as the primary focus of the job A MUST HAVE
- Strong VBScript Skills is a MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/work experience. Experience with all types of testing including systems, data quality, regression, and user acceptance. /
- Experience in creating test plans, cases, and scripts
- Experience in business analysis techniques.
- Experience with Web-based applications.
- Experience with Thick Client applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication with ability to effectively work with onsite and remote teams.
- Strong independent worker and an excellent team player.
- Knowledge of PC application software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, etc.
- Ability to interface with all levels and across organizational lines. .
- Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
