IT Data Analyst (FTSE 100 Company Trading Co), 3 months, Canary Wharf

We are seeking an IT Data Analyst for a 3 month contract working in Canary Wharf.

The ideal candidate will be from an advanced Desktop Support background, candidates shall have strong Microsoft tools and Excel proficiencies (pivot tables). The role will be based within a Market Data setting however it is desirable for candidates to have worked within trading organisations.

Responsibilities include:

Key Accountabilities

Provide Ropney Data Analysis and Reporting administration globally
Provide PAWS remapping administration globally
Provide SunGard User requests
Central point of contact globally for all Ropney and PAWS remapping related questions
Liaising at all levels with the business, Ropney and PAWS Replacement Project teams
Ensure all Microsoft Excel spread sheets are requested and scanned by the Ropney tool
Ensuring PAWS remapping file is up to date and accurate
Prepare and provide PAWS remapping Training Plan
Provide early life support globally for PAWS remapping related questions

Essential Criteria & Qualifications
Strong communications skills - clear, concise and able to negotiate priorities with business users, Ropney and PAWS Replacement Project teams
Strong analytical & problem solving skills, as well as good issue and progress reporting skills
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability
Utilises own initiative to resolve issues
Excellent teamwork skills

Desirable:
PC skills including good Microsoft Excel, Office and Word skills
