DESCRIPTION

The Firewall Engineer will have a fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN and associate protocols, as well as networking as it applies to flows via Firewalls and a good understanding of Switches, Routers and load balancers.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of four years experience in troubleshooting, configuration and maintenance of the above technology list.
  • Strong troubleshooting/problem determination skills.
  • Previous experience as a Firewall Engineer required.
  • Experience in working directly with customers.
  • Change support for Firewall FWSM, CfSM, SSL-M and Switch and Router.
  • Ability to completed customer projects.
  • Adherence to change and problem management policies.
  • Technology Requirements: FWSM version 3.2.x, OSPF on FWSM, Strong Cisco IOS background, Cisco CSM knowledge, Cisco SSLM, knowledge, Cisco Router knowledge (Terminal Servers), Cisco Switching (IOS) knowledge, Router - ternal Servers, Switches, TCPIP, CCNA, and CCNP.
