DESCRIPTIONThe Network Services/Support consultant will provide network security customer support in a shared environment supporting multiple customers in a Fault Management and Change Management operations support structure for a large number of clientele.
Qualifications
- Experience with Tier 3 in TCP/IP and Cisco Networking in an Operational NOC (Network Operation Center) environment
- TCP/IP knowledge
- Cisco PIX Firewall familiarity
- Checkpoint NG (Next Generation) Firewall experience running on Nokia and Sun platforms
- Blue Coat Proxy expertise
- Security Technology experience
- Customer Service skills
- Cisco Router configuration and troubleshooting experience
- Unix entry level experience - at least one year
- VPN (Nortel/Cisco) knowledge desired
- Intrusion Detection familiarity a plus
- Lucent Brick Firewall knowledge a plus
- Juniper Netscreen Firewall familiarity desired
- Cisco IDS experience a plus
- Cisco certifications
- Checkpoint CCSA and/or CCSE
- Ability to work substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and weekends may be required. Scheduling does include some flexibility to a 4 day on/3 day off schedule for non-first shift schedules, weekends may include a 3 day on/4 day off schedule, or a 5 day schedule is an option as well.
