DESCRIPTION

The Embedded Software Engineer will assist with Embedded software development and software maintenance. Responsible for Requirements Analysis, Architecture, design, code, integration and test of Embedded Set top box software. Encompasses existing product maintenance as well as possible development of new customer features.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • 6+ years of experience in product development of Embedded firmware/software using the C or C++ language
  • Experience in C, C++ and Object Oriented Technology required
  • Experience in Embedded system debugging required
  • Experience with Real Time Operating system such as Vrtx, VxWorks, or Linux
  • JTAG/ICE Experience required
  • Experience in Software Development process: Requirements, Architecture, Design, Test, and Integration
  • Experience in debugging hardware/software interfaces required
  • ISO9000 and/or TL9000 experience a plus

SKILLS

6+ years of experience in product development of Embedded firmware/software using the C or C++ language
