DESCRIPTIONThe Field Service Technician will perform field activities associated with installing, maintaining, and servicing products at customer sites.
Responsibilities:
- Replace defective units/components as appropriate.
- Assist in the conduct of equipment/system acceptance testing following established procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Provide operation/maintenance instruction to customer personnel.
- Work with customer via phone to identify operation/technical problems.
- Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers as required.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure the phone is working.
- Requires the ability to work out of home, have a valid drivers license, proof of insurance, reliable transportation that is able to carry all the necessary tools and equipment.
- Must be able to climb ladders, work on elevated platforms, and ability to lift 65 lbs.
- Experience level must be four to six years of test, service/refurbish, and repair skills for all cellular products.
- Experienced in troubleshooting electronic equipment.
- Requires a detail orientated individual who has fine motor skills to work with intricate pieces.
