Large Organisation requires a Monitoring Analyst in their Western Sdyney based offices for initial 6 month contracts that could extend long term.
As a Monitoring Analyst, you will be responsible for improving existing platforms, building reports; and proactively manage incident detection, problem management; and help build Key Performance Indicator dashboards for users.
Skills & Experience
- Hands on experience in configuration, maintanence, and tuning of enterprise monitoring tools such as Solarwinds Suite, Compuware, BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management, EMC lonix/Smarts suite, HP Openview, Microsoft SCCM/SCOM etc.
- Ability to take a process centric and results driven approach and proficiently use excel, presentations, and Visio for modelling
- Broad Knowledge across applications and infrastructure (UNIX, Windows Server, Storage and Networking)
- Strong knowledge of ITIL and IT Services Management principles, preferably ITIL V3 certified.
- Strong MS Visio and MS Office overall.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management platforms such as CA Service Catalogue; HP Service Manager and BMC Remedy etc.
