My client is a well-established and respected Australian Government department that has built itself upon a reputation of continuous success and innovation within their market.
Due to rapid growth within their industry sector my client is looking to appoint the skills of an experienced ITIL Service Management Process Specialist.
This role is responsible for the development and creation of the Service Management Process and supporting artefacts and involvement in the People and Change activities as part of the Enterprise Release Management Initiative.
This is an exciting opportunity based in Burwood on an initial 6 month engagement with a possible extension for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities and Associated Tasks include:
Service Management Process & Supporting Artefacts
Service Management People Change Plan & Delivery of Plan
Provide Guidance & Support to Release Management Initiative
Processes and Standards Development
Report on time progress, issues and risks
Completed allocated work within agreed timeframes
Contribute to the successful implementation of Release Management
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Key Accountabilities
ITIL® Service Management Processes
IT Service Management Processes and Integration Principles (eg: Configuration Mgmt, Change Mgt)
Software Development Lifecycle and project management methodologies
Resource management processes
Sensitivities related to Organisational Change Management
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Experience in developing and applying structured service management methodologies and processes for application delivery
Experience in implementing IT Service Management capabilities at an enterprise level including having a clear understanding of how the key components of People, Process and Tools integrate to deliver effective and stable Service Management capabilities
Demonstrated ability and experience in developing Organisational Change Initiatives in an application services environment
Desirable
Release management experience with an ERP or other enterprise class application involving complexity of integration and infrastructure
Competent in use of Enterprise Service Management software such as Unicentre Service Desk (USD)
