Our client, a very well recognised large scale Queensland Government Department, is currently seeking a SAP BI/BW Development Lead to join them on a long term contract of up to 18 months!
The Department will be transitioning from the Whole of Government platform of ECC5 to a new owned and operated SAP ERP 6 solution and associated components.
The Department requires the services of an experienced SAP BI/BW Functional Consultant to build the new SAP ERP6 environment.
You will have responsibility for the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
- We are looking to hire an experienced SAP BI/BW functional consultant to assist with a ECC 6.0 implementation in the design of SAP BW/BI deliverables.
- SAP BW/SAP BI Development, support & implementation experience (min of 5 years)
- Experience across ECC modules & relevant data extraction
- Info Cubes/Info Objects design & build
- Reporting writing skills
- Ability to co-ordinate directly with the customer on solution fit to business requirements and complete blueprint document and change requests when required
- Provide knowledge transfer to the business representative is imperative
To be successful for this role you will possess the following key criteria;
- Demonstrated experience across SAP modules & relevant data extraction
- You will be experienced in the full project life cycle, including Blueprinting, Design, Technical, Integration, Testing, and Migration
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and innovative problem solving skills and report writing skills
- Strong knowledge of reporting tools (SAP BW BEx)
- SAP ERP 6 and BI 7 experience would be highly regarded
- Experience working in government environment with Prince2 methodology
- Financial experience and or qualification
- SAP certification would be highly regarded
- 5 years plus SAP BI/BW consultancy experience
- Minimum of 2 full life cycle implementations (desirable)
