Our client, a large NSW Government organization, is currently looking to engage a Senior Oracle Financials Functional Analyst to work on an implementation initiative based around the upgrade and re-implementation of the existing Financial Management Information system into the Oracle Release 12 shared platform from R11i.
Key accountabilities;
- Complete analysis and documentation of current system customizations
- Document business process flows
- Review business needs against R12 functionality
- Work with relevant SMEs to understand specific business requirements
- Prepare a gap analysis of business needs against functionality
- Prepare business cases
- Assist developers with customizations as well as assist in the testing effort
Selection criteria;
- At least 7 years experience working with the Oracle E-business Suite 11i and the Oracle Applications implementation methodology
- Extensive experience working as a Functional Analyst with a particular focus on the Inventories and Purchasing modules
- Knowledge of Oracle development tools
- Working knowledge of the R12 E-business suite would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to understand business requirements
- Knowledge of Oracle Discoverer would also be highly regarded
