Description
Our large government client is currently seeking multiple experienced and qualified SharePoint Developers, beginning ASAP on contract until 30 June 2012.
As a SharePoint Developer you will be engaged to assist the department in implementing Microsoft SharePoint 2010 to provide collaboration portals, applications and web sites.
In conjunction with Section managers, activities will include:
- Prioritising, analysing and completing tasks according to the nature and urgency of the request.
- Developing new features in accordance with departmental procedures predominately in Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
- Customisation of SharePoint to meet departmental requirements.
Essential Criteria:
Successful candidates will have well developed knowledge and skills in analysis, design and programming in a web applications environment using Microsoft development tools and products in particular:
- SharePoint 2010;
- Visual Studio .NET
- C#; Javascript, HTML, and XML;
- ASP.NET MVC; and
- SQL Server 2008.
Also vital are:
- Well developed analytical and problem solving skills applicable to an E-business technology development environment;
- Ability to work productively and cooperatively in a high performing technical team and engage constructively with stakeholders and other teams as required.
