Senior SAP PPM Consultant (Portfolio & Project Management)
* Senior SAP PPM Consultant.* 9 months Contract.* Canberra Location.* International Consulting House.* Very Negotiable Rates.* Work with my client's major customer.* Start ASAP
Job Responsibilities:
- Senior PPM Consultant (Portfolio & Project Management) within the ERP Practice, preferably based in Canberra as well as providing a key point of technical/functional expertise across the national practice
- Assist business development team in the identification and exploitation of new opportunities
- Ensure consistency and adherence to standards across all projects (Development and Support);
- Participate or lead in business requirements gathering, analysis, detailed design, technical architecture and implementation activities;
- Provide deep product knowledge base, share this with project and support team(s) and mentor junior staff;
- Be responsible for the successful delivery of the business and technical solution and management for all engagements
- Develop own and other team members knowledge of new SAP PPM technologies as they emerge.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong skills in requirements definition, configuration and testing
- In depth SAP PPM 4.5 and 5.0 technical & functional knowledge - SAP RPM, cProjects, Project Systems.
- Experience in the integration aspects of PPM - particularly in respect to existing PS implementations and SRM.
- 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience in Public Sector and/or major constructions/real estate sectors
- Should have worked in 2 implementations at least
- Strong customer facing and problem solving skills
- At least 4 years experience as an SAP PPM technical/functional consultant
- Commitment to delivery within specified timeframes.
- Should be able to liaise with technical resources in PPM projects
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Pre-sales advantageous and business development/client engagement
- SAP ASAP training and SAP project management experience advantageous
- Technical development of proposals alongside the account team for new client engagements advantageous
