Description
Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Technical Specialist to join their team.
The main duties will involve the following (but not limited to):
- Supporting in house network management system in Perl and PHP, admin Linux-Ubuntu platform,
- Supporting Nagios Monitoring and scheduling tool.
- Maintenance of Web Based platform Bigpond Live
- Some database, experience MySQL, interrogating, apply script,
- Network Management Services/OSS System Admin
Skills required for the role include: (but not limited to):
- Back End Perl/Front End PhP/Programming, Must have skill sets on
- HP Openview
- System Administration
- Network Management
- Experience in distributed systems an advantage
- No Manuals for the in house stuff. So need to be able to come in and learn. The individual will need to be a self starter and show initiative to resolve problems when they arising.
