Financial Accountant - 6 month FTC
Up to £35k dependent on experience + £5k car allowance pro rata
Our finance team is integrated into all areas of the business, from Operations to Marketing, Strategy to IT. We are now looking for a Financial Accountant, initially for 6 month basis to assist the team during a busy period. There is potential for the role to become permanent depending on future workloads.

As Financial Accountant your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the transition of work across the finance function
- Evaluating controls within the financial accounts function and identifying ways to improve processes and controls
- Reviewing month end balance sheet journals, including provisions and consolidation adjustments
- Regularly reviewing provision calculations
- Preparing and reviewing quarterly VAT, IPT, FSA and National Statistics returns
- Preparing statutory accounts and assisting with tax computations
- Supporting the Financial Accounts Manager and Financial Controller as required
As Financial Accountant your experience will ideally include:
- Fully ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience
- Previous experience from within a similar position
- Solid financial accounting experience up to and including the preparation of statutory accounts
- Demonstrable experience of stakeholder management at a senior level with a track level of delivering under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
