UNIX Engineer/Senior Operations Engineer
My client is currently seeking a UNIX Engineer with experience in both hardware and software installation for a 6 month contract in Dublin.
The successful candidate must be available to travel freely within the UK and Europe and should acquire the following skills:
- At least 1 years experience working in the Mobile Telecoms environment.
- Minimum 2 years experience in supporting complex IT systems in a UNIX/Linux environment.
- Oracle, SQL.
- Java
- GSM, SS7, SMSC,SGSN
- Scripting- Bash, Perl, AWK.
- UNIX/Linux systems, including file system management/creation and network configuration/troubleshooting.
- Strong Analytical skills are essential
- Excellent customer-facing manner is essential
- Excellent communication skills are essential
6 month contract
Starting ASAP
Based in DUBLIN
RATE: EUROS PER DAY (Flex depending on experience).
