Description
Our client, a very well recognised and leading Queensland Government Department based in the CBD, is currently seeking to engage 2 x Senior Business Analysts to join them on an initial 6 month contract with an option to extend a further 6 months.
The 2 x Business Analyst's will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- Research and document suitable technology options to meet ICT system requirement.
- Model and document logical system design specifications
- Effectively liaise with business and technical stakeholders to identify and validate ICT business requirements
- Lead the business in redesigning/optimising business processes to solve business problems and/or take advantage of business opportunities
To be successful for this position you will possess the following key experience;
- Experience in Eliciting and modelling existing business processes using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN)
- Identify and document functional system requirements utilising Unified Modelling Language (UML) - in particular AMYL Use Cases
- Identify and document non-functional system requirements
- Experience working on projects within a large government organisation.
- Prior experience and/or knowledge of property and lease management processes, systems and ICT solutions and/or projects with a similar purpose
- Experience engaged in tasks specifically related to the knowledge areas as defined within the Business Analyst Body of Knowledge (BABOK) (5 years' experience is preferred)
