IT Senior Project Manager
Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Responsible for project management of large-scale projects spanning across multiple inter-disciplinary teams. Reports to Director of IT Support Team.
Key Responsibilities:
-lead the planning and implementation of project.
-facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
-define project tasks and resource requirements.
-develop full scale project plans.
-manage project resource allocation.
-plan and schedule project timelines.
-track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
-provide direction and support to project team.
-quality assurance.
-constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
-present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
-implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
-project evaluations and assessment of results.
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
-qualification in project management, ie PMP.
-experience working in service or support organizations.
-direct work experience in project management capacity.
-proven experience in people management.
-proven experience in strategic planning.
-proven experience in risk management.
-proven experience in change management.
-proficient in project management software require MS Project.
-experience working in mostly waterfall environment (not agile but should understand the difference).
-experience working in large corporate environments with many processes however willing to be a self-starter and have a start-up mentality.
-Between 10-15 years of hands-on PM experience.
-Definitely do not want a Junior PM and definitely not a mid-level PM; Need a very strong Sr. PM/Program Manager.
-Someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and actually create and do the documentation needed (ie detailed project plans, communication management plan, change management plan, risk management plan and understands those documents).

-Oracle Enterprise 2.0 experience.

-Previous experience working in a Oracle/Java environment (not Microsoft).
-Experience with Knowledge Management Tools and Platforms (InQuira - now owned by Oracle).
