Description
Large financial services company is seeking a BMC System Administrator for a 4+ month contract in Secaucus, NJ. The System Administrator will be responsible for support and administration of the BMC Performance Assurance system. Eestablish, modify and remove system performance collections on monitored Servers. Modify system collection schedules and assure overall proper system configuration on the system consoles and agents. Assure agents and collections are functioning and that collection data is transferred, analyzed and populated into the database. Data summarization and purging occurs per defined policies. Troubleshoot incidents and problems within the system. Work to upgrade system software levels including agent. You will typically interact with Hosting services/Server teams, DBAs, Application Management, Capacity Management and QA. The right candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience as a BMC Performance Assurance administrator with knowledge of Windows and UNIX (HPUX, Linux) operating systems.
