This Boston, MA industry leader has an immediate 6+ month contract opening for an Administrative Assistant/Analyst in their Wealth Strategies and Fiduciary Services Group.  This position requires a Bachelors Degree (Accounting, Finance, or Law), Financial Services industry experience, Analysis and Accounting experience, Understanding of Principal and Income, strong client (internal and external) focus, and strong oral and written communication skills.  Must have the ability multitask, problem solve, and meet deadlines.  Requires a strong attention to detail.  Requires a proficiency with MS Office (ie, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and good quantitative skills.  Strongly prefer someone with an interest in financial and estate planning.  This Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support for the Wealth Strategies and Fiduciary Team(s).  Support functions include telephone coverage, faxing, photocopying, filing, book binding, archiving files, scanning, etc.  Will update, format and run PowerPoint/Excel presentations and spreadsheets. Will prepare and assemble presentation/marketing materials, quarterly and ad hoc mailings and assist with the coordination of invitations to client events.  Will prepare correspondence and maintain files, update e-mail distribution lists, prepare UPS packages, and maintain complex calendars.  Will make travel arrangements, including expense report and reimbursement tracking.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Law).
  • Financial Services industry experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Analysis and Accounting experience.
  • Understanding of Principal and Income.
  • Strong client (internal and external) focus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability multitask, problem solve, and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail.
