Description
We have an IMMEDIATE NEED for a ColdFusion Developer! This is a long-term, contract opportunity located in North Dallas, Texas.
DUTIES:
1. Develop workable application solutions to business problems.
2. Design, develop, upgrade, test, implement, and document software components of client applications.
3. Assess, create, enhance and detail administrative, operational and technical policies and procedures.
4. Work independently and/or within teams throughout all phases of the development life cycle.
5. Assist in resolving application problems and defects.
6. Develop and maintain technical documentation and guidelines.
7. Perform unit testing.
8. Participate in peer code reviews.
SKILLS
1. 3 to 5 years experience in ColdFusion and related technologies with a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
2. Knowledge of CF 8 (ColdFusion version 8) Enterprise features, AIR and Flex.
3. Knowledge of Internet, Intranet, and Extranet systems design (security, content management, eCommerce, web, and application Servers).
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a MUST.
5. Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand.
6. Knowledge of IT governance and operations.
DESIRED:
1. User interface experience a plus!
EDUCATION:
4 year degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
