Copywriter - our client is a blue chip retail banknig organisation looking for an experienced Copywriter to work on a large scale Digital Banking Transformation programme.
The successful candidate MUST HAVE extensive Copywriting experience, preferably within Financial Services. Candidates who have experience with the types of technical documentation used in large web projects will be highly regarded.
Key responsibilities:
- Interpreting technical documentation.
- Writing with technical discipline (eg, adhering to technical documentation)
- Writing creatively: eg, reproducing different tones of voice - dependent on brand - within the constraints of technical parameters.
- Liaising with the content management team in order to resolve content load issues and queries
- Contributing copywriting expertise to stakeholder review workshops - and maintaining a comprehensive and knowledgeable overview of all types of content that fall within the role's remit
- Remaining diligent throughout the end-to-end content production process; eg, stakeholder consultation - copy creation - stakeholder review - copy amendment - stakeholder sign off - copy load into CMS
Core skills:
- Significant copywriting experience for a range of digital projects.
- Extensive experience of writing copy to structured technical documentation.
- Knowledge of the principles behind content management systems.
- Familiarity with a range of stakeholder groups
- Familiarity with agile methods is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent copywriting skills and solid grammatical expertise.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Familiarity with the full range of technical documentation used in large web projects.
- Confident with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- An impeccable eye for detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team, but also able to use own initiative as required.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced and delivery-focused environment.
