This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of Australia's newest and most innovative Mining Consultancy firms, based in central Perth. The company are renowned for their dynamic, fast-paced environment and have recently won a tender for several exciting long-term projects. This position is for a 12 month contract with an immediate start date and is due to rapid growth and the resulting expansion of operations in the West Australian Resource sector.
What does the role involve?
Your day will involve providing design leadership in accordance with standard methodologies, ensuring best practice and client requirements are met on time and on budget. You will be required to decide on technologies that are to be used by the business and work within a highly skilled and experienced team to ensure proper and efficient implementation. As a senior member of the Architecture function you will contribute to hiring decisions and mentoring the team to success.
What experience do you need to be successful?
Senior-level Solution and Enterprise Architecture
IT background, preferably in applications or web development
Selection & configuration of enterprise-level software
Exposure to Solution modelling tools (eg UML, ARIS, or EA Sparx)
Stakeholder management skills
Client-facing and fully-conversed in IT concepts and solutions
TOGAF certification is desirable
Previous experience working within the Resource & Mining sector, particularly on Pit-to-Port projects will be considered an advantage. Candidates must have the right to work in Australia, possess excellent English communication skills and have a flexible 'can-do' attitude.
We are seeking talented Architecture professionals with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients. Relevant certifications and qualifications will be considered an advantage.
