Introduction
Tasks/Responsibilities of the SCM system architect in the software support group (30 FTE): He/She Will be part of an architecture team that covers short, mid and long time activities in the area of a software development environment that is used by appr. 600 software developers. Will be active in projects that somehow affect an existing software configuration management solution in one of the world's biggest ClearCase archives. Will have a key role in defining the mid and longer term configuration management solutions for.

Job profile: Gesprekspartner zijn voor System Architects binnen DE, om een gezamenlijke roadmap neer te zetten voor het ontwikkelsysteem voor software binnen. Ontwerpen van een architectuur voor de middel en langere termijn, breed software development. Betrokken zijn bij de architectuur opzet van de IT projecten die nu lopen of op korte termijn gaan starten. (short term driven) Goede skills om de huidige situatie te begeleiden naar de to be architectuur. (bruggenbouwer tussen heden en toekomst) Innovatieve mentaliteit, niet te realiteit uit het oog verliezen
Experience
Experience: > 10 years experience with software configuration management (SCM) and related tooling and processes. Thorough understanding and practical experience with: o ClearCase (must!) o Development environments and strategy in general. (must) o Perl/Shell/Solaris/Unix/Linux (unix/Scripting is a must)
