Description

Personnel Assistant/Diary Manager, who ideally has a current criminal records check in place, is needed to work with a central government department responsible for the information gathering and better regulation of government policy.

The Personnel Assistant/diary manager is required to manage and monitor a number of diaries to ensure that business needs are met in a competent and professional manner. The Personnel Assistant/Diary Manager will be responsible for the electronic diary management and management of related papers for meetings, briefings and electronic and manual filing.

In addition, the Personnel Assistant/Diary Manager will provide ad hoc administrative tasks including researching, requesting information, and requesting information organising meetings and general support for an executive government team.

Personnel Assistant/Diary Manager-Essential Skills;

+ Previous track record of performing a Personnel Assistant role for an executive management team.
+ Strong skills and ability in Ms Word and Ms Excel.
+ Ability to learn existing systems and processes
+ Ability and confidence to propose new methods, processes and ways of working.

Personnel Assistant/Diary Manager-Desirable Skills

+ Current criminal records check or are willing to undergo a criminal records check.
+ Experience of working within a government or large organisational background.
