I am looking to recruit very good Migration Analysts to join this huge household name based in the Edinburgh area (Livingston).
The company is one of the 21st century's major success stories and is now looking to expand its' already very large IT department.
The main areas of responsibility within this role include:
Delivering Documentation.
Deliver Migration Approach Documentation.
Status/progress reporting into the Workstream Manager.
Working with the appropriate Technical Support and Design Teams to drive through delivery. Working with the appropriate Application Support and Design Teams to drive through delivery. Working with the appropriate Test Teams to drive through delivery.
Working with the appropriate Business Stakeholders to drive through delivery.
Assisting with collation of data. Analysis of the Migration risks and issues.
Assisting with the preparation of migration plans, schedules and communications.
Assisting the Workstream Manager with logging and management of Programme risks & issues
The successful candidate will be able to show the following skills:
Previous migration experience
Previous migration analysis experience
Excellent communication skills
Previous business requirements capture experience
Knowledge of MS Office and MS Project Knowledge of IT technologies that will include.Unix; Wintel; Storage; Backups.
Strong drive and initiative
Understanding of MS Sharepoint will be advantageous
