SAP HCM Specialist Luxembourg 12 month contract

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP HCM consultant for a 12 month contract in Luxembourg. The role should have the ability to maintain and manage changes in a newly developed system and provide user support. Experience of leading a team of experienced consultants is desirable. This person with-in limited time-scope will be expected to unblock critical technical issues. He/she will be required to provide content specific trainings to support teams and end-users. The incumbent requires the ability to understand business processes and the resulting impact of a change on all inter related functional modules (talent management, LSO, OM PA ).

Key Responsibilities (non-exhaustive list)

1. Maintain, configure (change) and support SAP human resources solutions for personnel administration, compensation, career development, performance management, payroll, recruitment etc.
2. As a senior team member you ensure the consistency in solution approach by all other consultants and contribute to problem management.
3. Testing and validation of configuration changes against business process of all functional areas within HR before moving to production.
4. Working with the project teams (global and local) to make sure alignment in solution design.
5. Working with other specialist/SAP to resolve critical problem within a defined SLA.
6. Creating and updating documentation for each change. Creating and maintaining internal knowledgebase.
7. Work closely with service desk in incident management process and provide level 1 & 2 support to the end-user.

Requirements

1. Thorough understanding of SAP HCM processes (Career Management, Compensation Management, Employee Performance Management, Knowledge Management, Recruitment, Succession Management, Training & Event Management, Organizational Management, Payroll & Legal Reporting, Time management, Employee Self-Service, Manager Self-Service) good understanding of processes in HR Domain.
2. Responsibility from time to time as team lead and support as expert consultant on key assignments.
3. At least 2 end-to-end Sap HR implementation experience is a must.
4. Strong technical background in interfaces or SAP Portal or Authorizations or SAP ESS/MSS or
HCM Processes and Forms.
5. Ability to contribute to the creation of an environment that motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team.
6. Coaching skills.
7. Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills (English is must other European languages would be an asset).
9. Conflict management skills.
10. Good leadership skills.

Preferred (nice to have) skills

1. Knowledge of ITIL Incident management, Problem management and User access management best practices.
