CCCi has an excellent, long term opportunity for a UAT QA Tester for our client in Downtown Dallas. The successful candidate will be working with the Business testing (User Acceptance) team.The UAT QA Tester will be responsible for
- The primary responsibilities for this position include development of business test plans and scripts, execution and review of test results, defect reporting, issue escalation and reporting the progress for change requests.
- This role will also require in-depth experience to develop and maintain business testing plans which meet the requirements of Texas Set and change requests.
- A critical aspect in this role will revolve around the successful candidate's ability in developing business testing plans for the UAT team in the most efficient, effective and timely manner, based on the schedule of code changes from the Information Technology group.
UAT QA Tester required skills include
- Position requires 5+ years of test plan development and execution experience within Mainframe and Client Server applications.
- Must have good experience in UAT testing as well as SQL Scripting.
- Previous experience writing automation scripts in QTP preferred as well as experience working with VBscript.
- Must have keen knowledge of the IT systems development life cycle, hands on experience with testing tools such as QualityCenter, Rational Suite, Mainframe test tools, and Rational ClearQuest.
- Preferred experience includes EDI transactions as well as customer information and transaction management systems experience.
- Must not require sponsorships. 3rd Party Candidates will not be accepted.
