Our downtown Toronto client has 7 month contract requirement slated to begin in April 2012 for a Data Conversion Specialist.This role will require a well versed Data Conversion Specialist to review data quality issues with the existing Legacy environment (iSeries/AS400), assist in remediating data where business rules and legislation allow, and review data quality in the new application database envronment.
The successful candidate must have strong familiarity with business registration management systems, processes and legislation. As well, experience working with solutions vendors including COTS.
Experience is also required in the following:
-conducting searches in the iSeries/AS400 environment
- remediating data
- review of data quality
- preparing tables for the business conversion
- clarifying how historical data will be migrated
- analysis and validation of data mapping specs
- developing SQL scripts
