Unique opportunity for an experienced Configuration and Release Manager to join a high profile and high priority project in an initial 15 month contract based in the CBD!
The Configuration and Release Manager's key responsibilities will include:
- Development and revision of the Configuration and Release Management Plan
- Development, implementation and management of Configuration and Release Management processes and tools
- Plan, coordinate and manage the configuration and deployment of configuration items to all environments
- Coordinate environment refreshes
- Coordinate environment shakedown tests in conjunction with test analysts
- Prepare and assure acceptance of releases
- Provide coordination between Test Manager, Test Team and Suppliers to ensure quality outcomes
To be successful you will have the following skills and experience
- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role including demonstrable coordination experience
- Previous Configuration and Release management experience in a large program
- Previous and demonstrable configuration management skills
- Excellent communication skills (Oral and Written)
- Demonstrated experience working in ITIL based process infrastructure.
- Self starting, team player - able to function without close supervision and mentor less technical personnel constructively
- Exposure to CRM/Call Centre projects would be an advantage
- Understanding of an Oracle 11g/BPEL/SOA environment would be an advantage.
