Our client, a large NSW Government organization, is currently looking to engage a Senior  Oracle Financials Functional Analyst to work on an implementation initiative based around the upgrade and re-implementation of the existing Financial Management Information system into the Oracle Release 12 shared platform from R11i.

Key accountabilities;

  • Complete analysis and documentation of current system customizations
  • Document business process flows
  • Review business needs against R12 functionality
  • Work with relevant SMEs to understand specific business requirements
  • Prepare a gap analysis of business needs against functionality
  • Prepare business cases
  • Assist developers with customizations as well as assist in the testing effort

Selection criteria;

  • At least 7 years experience working with the Oracle E-business Suite 11i and the Oracle Applications implementation methodology
  • Extensive experience working as a Functional Analyst with a particular focus on the Inventories and Purchasing modules
  • Knowledge of Oracle development tools
  • Working knowledge of the R12 E-business suite would be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to understand business requirements
  • Knowledge of Oracle Discoverer would also be highly regarded
