Award winning Global Professional Services firm requires a Technical Security Solution Architect for a major high profile project with one of their Financial Services Clients
You will ideally have come from hands on technical background within a Network Security environment before moving into the Architecture domain. You will have a strong knowledge and understanding of security principles across the enterprise.
Your role will see you;
Understanding clients environment and analysing the gap/weakness in the current design.
Architect a solution to eliminate or minimise the weakness in current environment.
Adhering to clients compliance frame work with best practices while designing the solution.
Responsible for delivering consulting services
Design Secured Network architecture with industries leading network & security products.
Help Architect the IT Security for this environment
Security design review of T&I Architectural core banking SDLC deliverables (HLSDs, ISOs, Tech Specs, etc)
Ensure the Banks security principles and disciplines are followed and the Exemptions process is executed where deviations arise.
Security Impact Analysis of project scope change with the Core Banking programme
Recommend and manage security initiatives throughout the project life cycle
Identify and alignment of non-functional security requirements with functional requirements
To succeed in this role ideally you will have;
Any experience in Cisco virtual Data-centre technology
A minimum of 3 years working as an IT Security architect
Strong technical ability across a number of security products
Substantial previous experience in technical roles within a service environment.
A good Connectivity background.
Documentation High & Low Level Designs, Statement/Scope of Work and RFPs.
The availability to work in a team or by yourself.
Excellent presentation & communications as well as Strong stakeholder engagement skills
CISSP, CCSE, CCNP, CCIE, SABSA or other relevant certifications highly regarded but not essential
Exposure to .NET Web applications (IFWServices), IBM WebSphere (BPH), IBM Message Queue (MQHub), AIX, Mainframe, Wintel, Java, z/OS, DB2, SAP, Oracle,
Experience with infrastructure appliances such as; Load Balancers (F5s), Cisco Pix and ASA Firewalls, NetApp NAS,
Security solution experience in PKI, Log Mgmt, IDAM, Kerberos and Mutual Authentication.
