My client based in Essex in currently seeking an Electrical Tech Specialist for an initial 6 month period
Requirement Description -
Electronic design specialist oversee development of automotive Embedded hardware for the next generation vehicle instrument clusters and audio systems. A senior/principal engineer or hardware design expert within the automotive or a similar industry.
The role will involve a dynamic mixture of detailed circuit design, leading design reviews, coaching, training and mentoring electronic engineers, supporting customers, problem solving, hardware/software interfacing and electronic architecture development.
Development of vehicle instrument clusters and entertainment systems for various vehicle manufacturers, in a customer driven and focussed environment based in our UK technical centre. You will be supporting multiple projects at the same time, with diverse, geographically distributed project teams.
Required/Desired Skills -
- Knowledge of the automotive electrical and physical environment
- A high level of skill experience in electronic module design egautomotive microcontrollers, CAN/LIN networks interfacing to sensors and actuators, power electronic design, design for E
- Knowledge of electronic component variation and failure modes with an ability to use circuit design, simulation and measurement to ensure circuit designs will work reliably over the range of component tolerances and environmental factors.
- Excellent communication skills - IT literate
- Self motivated, with excellent organisational skills to plan & prioritise
