Commercial Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high profile public sector client of ours, based in Central London. The project requires various commercial relationships with suppliers to enable the successful delivery of a new system. Thus, the role of the Commercial Manager will be to manage that relationship on the behalf of the client.
Key responsibilities:
* Identifying and developing opportunities to improve commercial leverage
* Influencing strategy development on the development of effective relationships with customers and stakeholders
* Ensuring that long term and strategic supplier relationships are established
* Managing the expectations of customers when developing procurement strategies through to contract award
Key skills/experience required:
* MCIPS Qualification or MBA
* Ability to demonstrate, understand and leverage of commercial relationships in a complex, multi-vendor environment
* Experience of working on a high profile public sector change programme, using IT
The successful candidate must have, or be willing to undergo, security clearance.
