We are looking for our client for a IT Vendor Manager in the area of Zurich:To build and retain a pool of competitive and market price vendors, the Vendor Manager will assume the following responsibilities:
• Procurement project management
• Analysis of contracts and opportunities
• Negotiation with suppliers and proposals to gategroup stakeholders
• Organizing cost inventory executing Total Cost of IT Ownership
• Carrying out cost reduction and spending rationalization initiatives with IT vendors
• Executing policies and guidelines related to global IT vendor management
• Identifying, selecting and qualifying IT vendors for all business sectors
• Ensuring that sourcing processes are in line with requirements regarding external production
• Controlling & Price Negotiations: Ensuring that the vendor management KPIs reflect best vendor performance in terms of quality, cost and utilization

Skills:
• Very good commercial experience and experience with total cost management
• 4-7 years of experience in vendor management, procurement or purchasing
• 2-3 years of experience in the industry or any other related industry
• Some legal experience would be a great asset
• Excellent Excel Skills and working experience with spread- and worksheets
• Project Management skills preferably with ITIL are a plus
• Fluent in English and any other language
• Individual with an analytical mind-set who is resistant to stress
• Customer- and solution-oriented skillset
• Strong negotiator with managerial experience
• Well motivated an willing to learn new skills
