Systems Analyst II/DataStage, SQL- Chattanooga
Overview
This position provides data systems analysis and design, project management, and business user support in the development, enhancement, maintenance and integration of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) and general data management solutions
Responsibilities
Define requirements, analyze, design, enhance, and develop data management solutions to efficiently and effectively fulfil corporate initiatives and planning/development objectives. Manage projects for coordination and tasking of up to 10 other IT and business resources. This includes, but is not limited to, feasibility studies, Systems Analysis Documents, project estimates and project reporting/tracking. Maintain technical skill set across a broad range of ETL and data manipulation software; SQL programming languages; databases, platforms, operating systems, utilities and networks. Provide direct support as "Tier 3" problem resolution resource to IT QA Team. Develop comprehensive presentations of proposed systems and present to IT and business management. Assist in development and mentoring of the department's data analysis staff to ensure that IIT Standards and Procedures and development methodology are followed and that resource potential is realized Qualifications
Minimum of 7-8 years of systems and programming experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience is required. Must have proven analytical, design and coding skills, and will demonstrate success in leading large projects (1, 200-1, 300 hours) or multiple concurrent small to medium projects (350-1, 500 hours). Excellent communication skill in technical and non-technical forums is vital to this position.
