We are a Australian based financial services organisation developing some of the most cutting edge and innovative business solutions and platforms in the world, the successful candidate will join an exciting and highly intelligent support team of System Engineers who are growing to support multiple environments and software development projects.

You will get exposure to a wide variety of technologies both Microsoft and 3rd party and will have the opportunity to work alongside some of Australia's most highly skilled System Engineers within an enterprise size environment.

Essential experience and technical skills:

  • Ability to Build or Configure and Support Servers both virtual and physical.
  • Ability to package up and deploy software from server platforms (Deployment not design)
  • Active Directory, DNS, IIS and various other core platform components for managing company domain and workstations
  • Understanding and management of application configuration, (working out what needs to be changed & ensuring it complies to governance requirements.)

Technical (Essential)

  • Microsoft Certified - MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, MCP etc;
  • IIS (6 and 7) ESSENTIAL
  • Active Directory (High-Volume) ESSENTIAL
  • Scripting (VBScript, Batch, PowerShell) ESSENTIAL
  • Windows Server ESSENTIAL
  • Complex Troubleshooting ESSENTIAL
  • Virtual Server (VMWare, Agility) ESSENTIAL
  • SCCM - ESSENTIAL
  • BizTalk - DESIRABLE
  • F5 - DESIRABLE
  • Source Control (TFS, Subversion) - DESIRABLE
  • Continuous Integration (TeamCity, CruiseControl.NET, NuGet)

I have multiple positions both contract and permanent with remuneration for permanent $90K - $100K Package or $80-$85 p/hr for contract.
