Description
An excellent opportunity exists for a SAP FICO consultant for a nine month contract to start immediately.
The Role:
- Support of all key Finance processes and system activities.
- Support related SAP logistics (SD & MM) processes.
- System configuration changes & testing.
- Ensure follow up and issue resolution within the agreed timeframe.
- Liaise with SAP with escalated issues/change requests etc.
- Complete regular System checks to monitor the SAP system to ensure it is working smoothly and efficiently.
- Ensure all Finance users are adequately trained in how to use the various systems to the appropriate level.
- Work with Finance team (and other relevant teams) to identify problem areas with existing systems and processes; plan and manage a program of improvements to these processes within agreed timeframes.
- Manage the implementation of change requests and larger projects.
Required:
- At least four year's SAP implementation and configuration experience - must have participated in at least two full implementations.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP Financials (FI-GL/FI-AR/FI-AP/FI-AA) and controlling including COPA. Cost of Sale Accounting knowledge desirable.
- Strong cross-functional SAP knowledge, Knowledge of the following is very desirable:
- SD: Sales to billing process/Sales conditions & Pricing
- MM: Purchasing & Inventory Management Process
- Previous experience of working within a retail organisation essential.
