Sand Resources has an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Financial Planning and Reporting Manager to join a large dynamic Retail Client based in North West London.
Our client seeks an exceptional candidate, to provide financial analysis and management reporting to senior executives within the organisation on a monthly and ad hoc nature. Candidates must have an excellent commercial understanding of the retail sector with a high level of analytical and financial acumen. The successful candidate will also be an exceptional communicator, able to liaise and present to the highest levels within an organisation.
Financial Planning and Reporting Manager Role:
*Drive local market financial performance through management of monthly performance review process, proactively providing value adding challenge and insight
*Produce financial performance updates and other ad hoc financial analysis for senior management meetings and executives.
*Build relationship with shareholder finance teams through provision of financial performance information and associated analysis
Financial Planning and Reporting Manager Skills and Experience:
*Commercial understanding of retail sales sector, experience of technology/telecoms an advantage
*High level of analytical ability and commercial acumen, whilst maintaining rigorous approach to financial appraisal
*An ability to build credibility with senior executives, and be capable of influencing at a senior level
*Pro-active, able to operate in a dynamic environment, identify opportunities and deliver change
*Proven experience in taking responsibility for meeting deadlines, self-review and ownership of work produced
*Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal
*Strong Excel skills; Hyperion and Essbase experience would be a distinct advantage
*Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with a minimum 2-3 years PQE or able to demonstrate strong quantitative/numerical skills
