My client is one of the most sort after and progressive banking giants in Australia and they currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced business analyst to work on an Intragroup remediation project remediating and integrating Legacy product systems.
Initial responsibility will be focused on a detailed analysis of the underlying reasons for mismatches in both inter and intragroup transactions and inhibitors to potential solution options.
Subsequent responsibilities will include business requirements definition, input into solution/remediation workshops, process re-alignment inclusive of documentation where required, and support the testing of the final solution.
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- 2 years Product Control experience in an Investment Banking environment
- Strong knowledge of end to end process flows of Investment banking products with an emphasis on effective controls
- Experience of intragroup remediation (highly regarded)
- Experience on remediating or integrating Legacy product systems
- A sound understanding of finance systems
- Solid BA skills combined with a strong understanding of the SDLC
- The ability to interrogate and analyse financial data
- Business Degree Accounting and/or Finance major ( Qualified accountant preferred)
- System Skills: Product systems such as Midas, Visio, MS Access & Excel
