Description
The contract is with a large services organization in Brussels to be on a long assignment at a European Site. Job summary: the Senior Analyst Programmer is responsible to analyse, design, document, implement, install and test code or related elements of applications, in the scope of maintenance (defects, change requests, optimization and new features) and of the new project (whole development life cycle).
Core tasks:
Maintenance (system currently in operation including new modules); Analyse, estimate and implement fixes, improvements or changes; Write technical documentation; Perform ad-hoc studies (optimization, refactoring, problem analysis); Support production activities (installation, test, monitoring); New system (Microsoft .NET and SharePoint 2010); Analysis and design; Implementation.
Knowledge and skills:
Very good knowledge of Web technologies; Very good knowledge of .NET; Knowledge of SharePoint (site components, web parts, lists, services, etc.) would be a plus; Knowledge of web services would be a plus; Knowledge of SQL Server would be a plus; Knowledge of ColdFusion would be a plus.
Education and Experience:-
Minimum 10 years of relevant studies and experience after the secondary school; Experience in Internet application development; Experience with UML or Case Tools; Experience with relational databases; A t least 6 years of experience with Microsoft .NET.
