ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily design, development, and implementation applications to web enable Sharepoint applications at the client. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for the coordination of all support requests and system enhancements, including features and functionality of these systems across the national platform.
- Develop customized web portals into SharePoint 2010 solutions based on business requirements
- Work with internal customers and project management to provide technical direction of SharePoint projects, including the development of technical specifications and project plans
- Manage portal test criteria, groups, and initiatives, to ensure that deliverables have met project objectives
- Design and create complex and sophisticated web solutions to integrate Microsoft SharePoint as well as various other .NET components
- Microsoft SQL Server and/or MySQL development
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming
- Provide guidance in all areas of the application life cycle including: requirements engineering, project planning and management, architecture and design for service oriented architecture, development patterns and practices, software configuration management, testing and quality assurance, as well as deployment & operations
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Candidate must have a strong, demonstrable background in web development and web enabling enterprise systems using the following languages/tools:
- HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, FLASH
- PHP, MySQL, PHPRunner
- SQL Server Development for the Web
- A Bachelors Degree is required.
Candidate must be a US Citizen with a Criminal and Credit background worthy of a Secret Security Clearance.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A candidate with any experience in the enterprise web enabling of Sharepoint applications HIGHLY PREFERRED.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- The client has a standardized schedule with every other Friday off and is a business casual environment.
- This position is a Contract to Hire position with potential for conversion after 60 days.
