Description
Automotive Industry Leader looking for experienced Sr. Financial Analyst whose will be responsible for the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts and month end close. This position partners with the operating department business leader to track and analyze department performance, provide summary detail reporting of department expenses versus forecast and budget and making timely relevant recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting and Month end close
- Motivated, self-starter with proven ability to take initiative and be proactive
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule, and work under tight deadlines
- Project Management, Process Improvement and Leadership skills is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to generate creative solutions for ambiguous business issues
- Excellent organizational skills and an ability to work on a team or independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong financial system skills. Experience with Great Plains, Hyperion Planning, Microstrategy, and Essbase is a strong plus
- Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word) especially with Excel. Looking for advanced level Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience preparing executive level reports and presentations
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
