Description
Urgent requirement for an experienced Systems Tester to work on this high profile peice of work. This is an initial contract through till the end of March 2012 based in the CBD.
You will have the following key responsibilities:
- To assist with the execution and verification of testing of strategic and tactical reports to ensure error free operation in a production environment.
- Analyse requirements, design tests and write test cases.
- Execute tests and raise defects and issues.
- Recommend and implement process improvement opportunities within the project team.
To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven knowledge of HP ALM or Quality Centre testing toolsets
- Experience with the use of JIRA for defect recording and management.
- Working within either Agile/PRINCE2 and Waterfall development environments would be an advantage
- Background with automated and manual testing tools would be an advantage
- Proven ability to develop and implement SQL
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with working in a team oriented multi-disciplinary environment.
